I need an animated logo created. I want the logo created as a Silverlight 2 XAML file. This requires programming, graphic design, some creativity, and a little understanding of fonts. The deliverable is one XML file. The file must be a Silverlight 2 XAML file. The animation must be done in the XAML and not in a program. Below is a description of the animated logo for eRPGaZoid Layer 1 This has a green background. A fine-lined small hex grid is over the background. This grid slowly pulsates from dark green to light green and back. A thick-lined large hex grid. This grid looks like pulses of energy is flowing through it. The pulses flow from left to right and moderate pace. The pulses should be almost white with only a hint of green. The entire layer slides to the left. Then the layer snaps back in an infinite animation. Layer 2 This looks like a metallic bulkhead that has been cut or chewed open revealing Layer 1 below. This should have a three dimensional look. This layer acts as a mask showing only a portion of Layer 1 below it. Layer 3 This layer is made up of character animation. The text is "eRPGaZoid". The font must be bold sans-serif. In order of preference the font can be: Avant Garde, Futura, Eurostile, Century Gothic, then finally Helvetica or Arial. The characters must be converted to curves. In the animation, the word "breaks". The "eRPG" tilts so the "G" raises. The "Zoid" tilts the opposite way. Imagine something pushing up on the letter "a". The letter "a" raises and kerns into the "Z" of "Zoid". The text should be bright neon orange and have a 3D look. The text should "flare" when it breaks. The animation should then reset the font back to its original state. The text is centered over the cut-out of layer 2. I added this desicription plus additional details and graphics in an attached file. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Wednesday Apr 15, 2009 5:10:54 PM: I added a file with some graphics and notes. My background is coding, not graphics. I want the XAML to use the element: I leave the width and height up to you. I am attaching a simple graphic of what the fine line hex grid should look like. But you can’t use the graphic, because I want the hex grid to be drawn with lines. I will outline the way I would approach implementing Layer 1. I am open to other approaches. You could write a program, but I probably would just use Excel to create a table of the vertices of the hex grid. A hexagon has six sided, and six angles of sixty degrees. If you know a little trigonometry you can quickly determine the vertices of a single hex given its size. If you are good with Excel you could have Excel generate the XML. I did this for a pie chart I created in XAML. Attached is an Excel spreadsheet that shows how I generated the statements for a pie chart. You can use a similar approach to generate the hex grid. The animation would use the You need an animation to change the color of the small hex grid. You can use a similar approach for the large hex grid. The large hex grid should be at least four times larger. That means the larger hex grid will overlay the smaller hex grid and share some of the vertices. Again you could use Excel to help you with that. I created a second graphic showing how you can draw a line of hexes with two poly lines. Note the poly lines do overlap on the vertical strokes. This is shown in the Hex Path graphic. You can also use this for the path of the pulses that travel on the larger hex grid. I would create layer 3 before creating layer 2. The reason is the text in layer 3 should always be over layer 1. Once you create that, then you can create an outline I created two graphics TextBefore and TextAfter showing how I want the text to move. I am not using the correct font. The graphics use “Geometr231 Hv BT??. That font is a bit more obscure, and if you have it, you can use it. Please download the zip file attached to the project. ## Platform Silverlight 2 XAML
