Recreate low resolution raster logos by matching fonts and redrawing graphic elements with the pen tool creating high resolution illustrator vector files.
We will Provide 20 logos for this batch. There will be a 10 logo milestone for this batch.
Logos must be re drawn with the pen tool/shape tools in Adobe Illustrator CS4
Logos will be delivered as Jpegs, PNGs, and GIFs
The fonts for text sections of the logos need to be identified and the reconstructed from the actual font (rather than tracing with the pen tool).
In cases where the original font cannot be matched perfectly, a very close substitute can be used and modified to match. Redrawing the entire text should be avoided except in obvious and extreme cases.
indicate what font was used by creating a layer in the illustrator with that font name, e.g. “Font used Helvetica”
All text should be outlined.
If logos have a rectangular color background, make a white rectangle and place it behind the text in layer order.
If the font is white on top of a color background give the font a color, preferably the color of the background before making the background itself white.
There should not be drop shadows on any part of the logo, and should be removed in photoshop CS4 by using the color range tool.
Once the logo is finished in Illustrator CS4 it should be saved as an Illustrator CS4 vector file and sent back.
Sample before/after image and 10 example logos are attached. For sample image: On the left is a close up and full image of the finished vector product & on the right is the close up and full image of the web graphic in low resolution
