Hello I want to build a genealogy website for a specific family. The website must have the following features: 1- A home page where general information about the site will be displayed this will include announcements and contact information. The homepage will then have a link to a secured section of the website that cannot be accessed without logging in with a password provided by me the website administrator. It should be a private "club" for family members only. 2- In the restricted access page there NEEDS to be a "family tree" that can be edited. It should look like the picture file I have attached. Each member of the tree will just be a picture with a name under. I should be able to add and remove these people. So the tree should expand or decrease when adding or removing members, while remaining balanced. I should be able to add parents to an individual, or children to an individual. 3- When the picture of any family member on the tree is clicked, I want a window to show with a list of documents that are attached to this person. The website should have a database of documents (pictures, PDF's, links, ect. Anything relating to the person). These documents will be "tagged" by the Administrator with the names of anyone on the tree who is related to the document. 4- If there is no photo for a member on the tree there should be a blank box outlining where they would have been. Like a placeholder. The goal is to get the members of the family to collaborate by sending me pictures and documents to fill the tree. The tree will make the page very large, It can be coded into the actual page but It may be better to display it using some sort of app. Maybe something like Google maps that be zoomed in and out while maintaining the entire tree displayed. This is key! I want the entire tree displayed in ONE place. Should look very much like the picture attached.
