I own a mobile food business that operates on a lake. I want to add a feature to my website that allows my phone location (e.g. my boat) to be updated to a map in real time (1 minute intervals or so). The goal is to allow customers to visit my site (on a mobile or desktop device) and instantly know where I am. I have a partially built website on Wix that has a poorly done self-made version of what I wish to be a cleaner product. For that geolocation tracker I used the free tracking service "Traccar" but in order to track my device I have to log in (and all customers do as well). Not only is there the annoying log in step, but once logged in, anyone can then proceed to mess with the tracking settings (such as deleting my phone as a tracked device). Ideally I want the new, better tracking system to simply replace the old one. Here is a link to my current site for reference: [url removed, login to view]
I've been looking into Traccar alternatives and there appears to be a number of options I just simply don't have the time or skills to rework the site. One promising option (that, admittedly I do not fully understand) was using a geolocation API from PubNub. I think that covers most things. This is my first time using Freelancer, so I don't know if this is possible, but I'm happy to answer any questions.
