Illustrate a new years card/comic illustration

I would like to make a new years card to send to friends and post on my blog. I have a particular style in mind: something like the cartoons/comics by Vera Brosgol (@verabee) or Katie Shanahan (@KtShy) or the James Hance "Wookiee the Chew" illustrations. I can supply more photos of the subjects, but the single-panel comic style illustration I would like doesn't have an exact photo source.
What I would like is an illustration of my wife, me, and our cat (see photo) curled up. I would like more of the scene (bed) shown (selfie limits the field of view). I would like my wife to be represented wearing a black-and-white cat onesie pajama (google "Kigurumi tuxedo cat Pajamas"). The idea is to show the parallel between my wife and the cat.
