Sonic Leader Productions in Los Angeles is producing a series of audio-dramas. They will each be promoted online using a single movie poster-style graphic. Style is expected to match movie posters most common in the 1980s but still popular today: Realistic drawings of the characters in an exciting montage, with some background and other elements that reflect the settings of the story.
Need an illustrator who can draw the poster/graphic for the first audio-drama in the series. (If it works out, we'd like to hire the same freelancer for the others as well.) We'll provide photos of the voice actors to use their likeness, their character descriptions, and a preview cut of the audio-drama itself to listen to (or a written description of the story and themes if necessary.**)
There are around ten characters in this one, which is a comedy/fantasy taking place in L.A. The title logo has already been designed and will be provided (along with a "tagline" to incorporate into the poster.)
**Would strongly prefer a candidate who is willing to listen to a rough cut of the audio-drama, for inspiration and to understand the themes and the story. (It's like a radio play and takes about 40 minutes to hear.) But if a candidate instead prefers to pour over written words and notes in order to try to understand the themes and the story -- ok, it's up to you, as long as the illustration reflects a firm grasp of the material.
