Good morning, I need to improve a logo for a new business.
I created the logo draft that you see in the attached image using the following fonts:
- Inkburrow for the word "dabun", 100% freeware fonts
- Luna Bar for the words "semplici ingredienti che si credono torte" (that in Italian means "simple ingredients that see themselves as cakes), shareware, but maybe this font should be modified whit one more regular, I think it will be better.
You should then, starting from this draft idea, create a professional logo, maybe with text coming out of the lettering to get something more personalized.
The business is a pastry shop near Turin (Italy), specialized in modern Italian cakes (please search “torte moderne” in google image search to get an idea of what we are talking about); it is absolutely no cake design, but I want to create a strong link between the producers of the basic ingredients and the consumers; I will declare with every new cake who (and how, and where) produces the raw materials used.
The word "dabun" means "really" in the local dialect, and it is used to reinforce a comment to a piece of news. In my case it is related to the start-up of my business, which is happening "really" after years spent chasing it.
I would not want to insert other graphic symbols in the logo, as a whip, confectioner's hat etc.
I'd like a modern, elegant, but not too elaborate style.
The logo will be used for the production of business cards, custom packaging, for the store sign, for the website and the Facebook page, for adhesives on the van and the chocolate plaques used to sign the cakes. For this reason I'll let the designer choose which type of file / files to deliver, so that it/they can be used properly for all the above mentioned purposes.
