My boyfriend, Thomas, and I are traveling around Japan.
We are both woodworkers/furniture makers, so our trip has been centered around good craftsmanship. Which Japan has plenty of, it has been a pleasure!
We need an interpreter for a meeting we are having in Tokyo with a Japanese designer. The meeting will take place in the area Shinjuku the 18th of October at 12 o’clock and will take around 2-3 hours.
In Denmark I have a firm working with design, development and production of furniture. Last year I did a project with this japanese designer. I made a Danish interpretation of two of his chairs, which were shown at an exhibition celebrating the 150 year anniversary of Danish and Japanese dimoplacy.
This meeting will be the first time we, the designer and I, meet in person and is more of a personal meeting then a business meeting. Unfortunately neither Thomas or I speak Japanese, likewise the designer and his staff don’t speak english. Therefor we need help from outside.
We are looking for pleasant person who can assist the meeting by interpreting between the two meeting parts.
I hope to hear from one of you.
Signe Ø Lund
NB! The interpreter we are seeking, has to be present at the meeting.
