I'm creating an educational media project for a non-profit. It's addressing school bullying. The project involves making three over-the-top fake propaganda films that represent common flawed messages that students receive about bullying. The goal is to show the students these messages and hopefully spark a discussion about what is actually true as opposed to these common ways of thinking. Each film needs to be represented by a poster (within the film itself). So I need three 24x36 printable posters. These would be simple, text/graphic based poster versions of the motto portrayed in each film. The first one is called "Everything is Perfect!" "Everything Is Perfect" presents a super idealized classroom, bright colors, everyone smiling, very peaceful. So I need a 24x36 printable poster that has that exact text "Everything Is Perfect!", easily readable when printed from about 10 feet away, dominating the poster. I don't want to portray school kids in the illustration of the poster but maybe instead school related items like books, pencils, an apple... or maybe a vector style school building? Ideally there would be some commonality across all three. The second poster is "It's Not A Big Deal" (a black and white parody of a 1950's educational film that represents the attitude that bullying is part of growing up, not a big deal) - this poster would be seen in black and white, never in color - and should feature that exact motto "It's Not A Big Deal". And the last one is "Hopeless!" - a parody of an old zombie movie that shows a sort of disaster-movie, zombie film, type classroom in order to discuss the attitude among some students that there are absolutely no solutions for bullying.I'm imagining a jagged or garrish font? A limited but striking color palette?
I'd like each poster to be visually distinct but feel like a set. Old school propaganda posters and movie posters are a good reference. #2 should be in grayscale or even just black/white. #1 and #3 should have very different colors to make them distinct.
Most importantly - the target audience is middle schoolers - so nothing should be too edgy or complex.
