Modern history of branding - research corporate identities of a range of Australian companies (minimum of 2 companies in the same area of business). Look at and reflect on and the development, trends and changes in your chosen companies and how their logos and values have evolved over a period of time. Find out the historical background and the designers (if possible) and their thought processes in addressing corporate identities. Reflect on how logos and branding affect our lives and product perception. Investigate the meaning and concept of the design solution. Further investigate the use of colour, shapes and typography, in relation to the chosen area of branding and marketing. Prepare in-depth research into how the brands are represented and presented in the contemporary environment, by means of observation and research.
• Document should be prepared in InDesign, applying layout design principles of grid systems, choice of font that enables smooth navigation, consideration of information hierarchy, the balance of images and consideration of elements such as page numbers, for the most effective and clear navigation.
• Document should incorporate thorough research and imagery, to support your research.
