A writer to expose extreme systemic nursing negligence in a major hospital system. Not a lawsuit. Medical awareness education is my goal

I am looking for an experienced writer to expose extreme, systemic, totally avoidable nursing negligence in a major hospital system. My goal is to raise awareness of the issues and provide people with the details of a real-world health care failure to help protect themselves, their families and loved ones from preventable harm in the future. I have a specific patient case (my own) which will drive the content, and I believe the content may be longer than 2000 words. The writer should be knowledgeable in the areas of healthcare, nursing, "Nursing 101" basics, and ethical response behavior on the part of Hospital Executives This project may involve more than just writing, but probably not. I have already spent many dozens of hours researching my electronic health care records (MyChart, which I have 100% downloaded as a .pdf. All of MyChart records will be made available to the writer) and writing about every detail of this medical failure. The writer might provide additional sound research (but, I think my written research has been exhaustive) and help identify even more discrepancies that may have caused the systemic negligence. Any potential calls for changes in policy should also be explored as part of this project. The successful writer will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The final product should be error-free and well-researched. I look forward to working with someone who can help me make the public more aware of this serious issue and ultimately make changes that will improve the safety in our healthcare system.
The following fluids Intake/Output records are copied directly from My Chart.
They are absolutely bogus and inaccurate.
No one ever measured either my fluid intake or urine output.
Not a single time.
I consumed no food for 4 days (while NPO and clear liquids diet) and gained 22 pounds (per MyChart) during that time. I should have (at the most) barely maintained my beginning weight of 204 pounds. Instead I gained 22 pounds and weighed 226 pounds at the time of my discharge after 4.5 days in the hospital without food. Nobody noticed or cared what was happening.
22 pounds is nearly 3 gallons of excess infused IV fluids. I suffered every symptom of Hypervolemia/Fluid Overload. I had water in my left lung. The extreme edema in my legs, feet and toes made it look like the skin was ready to burst. (I have photos). I suffered multiple dangerous heart arrhythmias, acute heart failure, and acute kidney failure. The infused water absolutely filled every available interstitial space, including my scrotum, which eventually was filled to the size of a softball. My liver swelled up and extended below my rib cage, and felt as hard as an inflated football. My abdomen grew to be massive (Ascites).
My kidneys shut down and I urinated nothing but a limited few ounces that looked more like maple syrup than normal urine. (I had to ASK for a urinal after the first 24 hours but none of the nurses ever managed my fluid input or measured or looked at my urine... including the horrible dark, thick urine.
The only reason I didn't suffer permanent injuries including to my brain was because I insisted that the doctor look at my IV flows and turn them off the last night; otherwise, I would have gained another 4 lb and weighed 230 pounds which may have caused permanent damage to my brain Etc. There was no space left for the water to go.
I suggest a prospective writer spend three bucks on 3 one gallons of water at Walmart. Hold one of the bottles in each hand and ask a friend to put the third one against your chest so that you could embrace it. Then stand there and consider the fact that all of that water was inside of my body.
During the first 17 days I was home I lost 30 lb while eating normal meals once again!
I have photographic documentation of all of this which includes daily weights with date and time stamps on them.
As my primary care doctor said at the Veterans Administration in Ann Arbor when I told him what happened to me he just said "the hospital and the nurses and doctors were just lucky...this time... that you survived without permanent injuries".
I went to the hospital here via the emergency room with a belly ache... and they nearly killed me.
If I would have had time I would have driven up to Ann Arbor to the VA Hospital instead. My care at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor has always been exceptionally good.
Let's save some lives.
