When you choose me i will take care of correct database update. Then i will start with updating theme with prestahop 1.6 (1.4 and 1.6 themes are not compatible). After this i can start modifying your custom modules and functions. I don't know much details yet, but even now i can say this task can take about 20-30 hours. Hello! I can help you with presta update, I done it 4 times. 2 years expirence in prestashop. It is principal different case: Have you prestashop 1.4.1 version or 1.4.0 ? We have'nt risk becouse do copy of old site before updating. I must see on code, have you some differents in standard core files. Custom modules will work good ufter update. If you have some another modules, maybe some of it will needs to be repair. Write me.
