Currently, I want to create a 'Jump To' feature in Tibco Spotfire. User is able to jump to a certain html page based on what they selected.
Initially, I created a python script as below.
[url removed, login to view](str([url removed, login to view]["BRLINK"]));
It works fine on my laptop. However, user is not able to use it because this command only works for local drive.
After I done some research, I have two potential ways to do this right now.
First one: Python and HTML.
Run following Python script
from [url removed, login to view] import HtmlTextArea
string = "</HEAD>\n" + "<BODY>\n" + "<FORM name=\"oForm\" action=\"[url removed, login to view]\" method=\"post\">\n" + "<INPUT type=\"button\" value=\"aButton\" </FORM>";
[url removed, login to view][HtmlTextArea]().HtmlContent = string
Then html part is covered by following code automatically.
<FORM name="oForm" action="[url removed, login to view]" method="post">
<INPUT type="button" value="aButton" </FORM>
However, there is no response when I execute it. If someone knows how to make it work, then I can change [url removed, login to view] to a dynamic value.
I run following html code.
<A href="[url removed, login to view]" target=_blank>Jump To</A>
It works good on web browser. But I don't know how to replace [url removed, login to view] by my dynamic document property.
Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you!
