I need a framework built for the ipad that reads in a series of images, displays them one on top of the other, and performs a parallax effect on them based on the movements of the accelerometer. An html5 based demo is available here: [url removed, login to view]
As you'll note, on the ipad the performance of this is pretty bad. I'd like this to be implemented natively and shoot for a frame rate of at least 45fps with five layers. What you'll deliver is fairly simple - an application that reads from a json file that has multiple page objects consisting of a list of images uris, along with a parallax weight ranging from 0 - 1 (which will determine how far an image slides from side to side). The application will also have to have two buttons - the the left one will load the previous page, and the right one will load the next page, which will transition with a simple pan to the next page. These buttons should load their appearance from an image uri in the json as well.
Forgot the audio part - each json page object will also have a uri to an audio file, containing the audio that will be played on that page. A third button will also exist, which can be tapped once to play the audio, or tapped twice to auto play audio every time the next/previous page buttons are pressed.
