Project: 3D Online Multiplayer Poker Game Client for Web, iOS and Anrdoid Systems using Unity 3D Engine
The project will consist of converting existing 3D meshes, textures and animations into Unity 3D compatible formats and rebuilding an online 3D Poker Game client. The game appliation will communicate over the Internet with a server over HTTP and TCP and will communicate through web sessions using XML and JSON as the communication protocol.
The 3D game application will be responsible for little client logic, but will manage and maintain screen flows, HUD screens, 2D animations, 3D animations, sounds, 3D enviornments, lighting and minor physics simulation.
Within the lobby of the game, various 2D screens with certain controls will be provided for user preferences, settings, etc. These controls mimic radio buttons, text fields, table views, buttons.
The application needs to be very polished, utilizing shaders and other graphical effects where appropriate. Details on these requirements will be provided once the project starts.
An existing version of the game client exists as a Windows DirectX application and screenshots of the lobby and game areas have been provided for reference.
The design and development needs to be done within Unity 3D using other supporting applications such as Blender or Maya and Photoshop to modify and bring in the necessary meshes and textures into the system. Development needs to be done using Unity 3D scripting system. Target deployments must support web, iPhone, iPad and Android platforms.
