Project Description

The first version of this iPhone App will be an application that shoots video using the built-in iphone video camera and overlays data from the accelerometer and GPS signals.

The application will take data from the accelerometer and display the G-Forces for vertical and lateral acceleration. This will be displayed as a real-time G-force meter and will overlay the video being recorded.
The application will display the GPS data in both speed and direction. The display will be in large digital easy to see format. The direction will be digital as well as graphical.

The functions will be as follows:
1. Start & stop video
2. Export video to iPhone photo library
3. Delete video
4. Display speed in KPH or MPH
5. Display current time and elapsed time.
6. Switch between front and rear camera.

For an example of an app that is close to how this application will work, please see the iTunes "CarCam" app at [url removed, login to view]

I would like the completed app to work similar to this one, but will a different display.

Depending on the success of this application, it may be ported to Android.

Please look over these initial specifications and give me a realistic cost and time to complete.
