The game is going to be a side view 2D endless platform game which is going to be created by Cocos2D. Two layers in for the background and main game layer in the front. Main character is going to be on the left side of the screen. During the gameplay, main character is going to face with some obstacles and empty platform parts/pools which it has to avoid to survive.
While avoiding obstacles and platform spaces, the character has to collect two different item types in the game. First one is coins. It will be the currency to buy items in the game store which will change the looking of the main character or upgrades like helping player to collect coins easier. Second one is boosters. There is going to be 3 types of boosters. When character touches a booster, it will give a power-up and change the looking of the character until it hits an obstacle which will cancel the booster.
During each game, player will be warned to complete some objectives/missions. Coin packs will be rewarded after each 3 mission completion.
The game menu is going to be simple too. -Start Game Button -Shop Button (includes items to buy with coins) -Settings Button (music, sound-fx on/off and language settings) -Objectives Button (the next 3 objectives player has to achieve) -Leader-board Button (top 20 scores of the player which will be kept in device memory.) -Game Center Button (Apple API, ready codes) -Facebook Button (Apple API, ready codes) -Rate Game Button (Apple API, ready codes) -Credits Button (me, you, friends and family)
It is going to be a universal game for iPad 2, iPad 3/4(retina), iPhone 4/4S(retina) and iPhone 5(retina wide-screen). This will only effect the graphics and I will give you raw graphics(colored animated objects like circles, cubes etc.) from the first day for all platforms. I am working on the final game graphics but I am not going to reveal them until release date.
You have to put comments(//) while coding for me to help me read codes without any problem.
So the project is going to be finished with raw graphics and I am going to replace them with the final graphics. All raw and final graphics are going to have the same dimensions and animation frames so there will be no problem with replacement. But I have to be informed with codes, game videos and progress during the development day by day to keep the project on the beam.
It is going to be a 30 day work and I have to see the working prototype before the payment. Also it is very important to contact with me about daily progress. I don't want to wait one week to get a reply.
