Project Description

I want to create a one minute math race game (multiplication only) for the iPad.
The student will enter their own name and also a "teacher code" or play as a "guest"
The teacher code will be verified on a MySQL database or else play as a "guest"
Starts on Level One. Ready... Set... Go!
Two numbers are shown in a vertical column with the (to be typed) answer below.
The two numbers being multiplied are random but their value range is set based on the games "Level".
For example... Level 1 would give first number ranging from 0 to 3 while second number would range from 2 to 4.
The highest answer on Level 1 would be 12 and the lowest answer would be 0. The answer is added to the total score.
If the student scores 100 points, they move up to Level 2... if not, they stay at Level 1.
Level 2 would give first number ranging from 1 to 4 while second number would range from 3 to 5.
The highest answer on Level 2 would be 20 and the lowest answer would be 3.
The student continues for ten one minute games (if game 10 is highest score then 11 games)
The 10 (or 11 ) scores will be posted to MySQL database with student seeing their own highest scores.
Three "shortcut" keys would include "J" to jump to Level 10, "H" for help, and "spacebar to reset answer.
If the student scores a certain amount, they will be able to print an "AWARD" document.
Teacher will need access to database (by iPad? or online) to approve or disapprove of the names posted by students.
I would also need to have access to a table of "BANNED" names that could be easily expanded.
