I just finished a migration of Classic ASP last month from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012. While ASP.NET may use an installer, Classic ASP does not. It is easy to migrate. But what you MAY encounter are some undocumented differences in behavior in some obscure function. I found this to be true in converting numerical data using the "getstring" function.
