The main goal for this department is to create and maintain a high awareness level among
the people. PR is responsible for the image that people have of our product, knowing
what the latest fashions and trends are and how to be a part of this. This sector´s mission
is to communicate with our customers and to let them know that we have what they want,
most of the times this is done by visual contact with the consumer.
Communication and PR works closely together with Marketing and Sales department.
Information on the market is needed from the Marketing and Sales department to base
a communication plan on to reach our prospects. If the communications towards the
consumer go well, the sales are more likely to go up.
Since this is a new and fresh company the context will not have anything about history of the company but more information about the history of the product itself Since this product has been around for a while but it was never really introduced to the people as something new. The product just started showing up on web shops and not too many retailers.
The LED watch is still a very new product even though the watch was introduced in a movie (2010) it has not spread around the way it should have, maybe that is because the movie kind of flopped. In the movie they made this watch look very high tech and trendy. As far as we are concerned we could just drop the high tech because nowadays what isn´t high tech. We should focus on the trendy bit as the product fits perfect with the image created in 2010, 2011 should take the trendy part up a notch.
On of the key factors that will bring us success are off course the people. People need to love it and they should want it because everyone else has one, easier said than done. However we do intend for a celebrity to wear the watch, the celebrity need to be someone who has a lot of fans between the age of 15 to 30 years. He / She also needs to fit with the image of the watch, a fresh, young, urban and sporty character, therefore we think it would be wise to get someone like a soccer player or a famous dancer or singer/rapper etc.
Another key factor that will make our product a success is the lifestyle of our target group. They love to live a fast a flashy life meaning they love to hang out, go out clubbing, watching movies, enjoying music, sporting, following the latest trends. The LEDGO needs to and will have the image that will make people within the mentioned category attracted to the style of the LEDGO.
Before the end of June we should have reached 40 % of our target group by sharing ….. flyers and spreading ….. posters around the city. And we should have the website up and running.

From July to the end of August we should have created the image of a new urban and trendy new accessory . This will be done by promotion via celebs on television or during events.

Before the end of September we should have developed the image of a trendy and creative company that is a definite competition for upcoming and existing companies with similar products.

At the start of September we should be known for the fact that we do our part for the community and that we support charities. This is to interest people in our company and our productions.
