eCommerce Startup needs Marketing Strategist

Marketing consultant needed to help Startup E-commerce eBike company create our content strategy and brand identity from previously developed survey and industry market report. The goal of brand identity and content strategy is to helps us communicate in a way that will let us achieve our business goals.

Via interviews with company principle, you will pull out whom we want to be as a company. How we look, feel and sound, (Are we Acura, Toyota, Chevy, Lexus) who are our competitors, and what our capabilities are.

The deliverable is a PowerPoint or brief that we can give to our creative team, that will help develop and define our message/content strategy and brand identity, This document should clearly outline data points and assumptions they can be used when developing content strategy via very easy to digest content.

We have an industry report that will provide data points in which informal personas can be developed along with demographic, geographic, psychographic segmentation narratives, that can be used in the Communication strategy PowerPoint/brief our creative teams can use to craft messaging.

Based on information from the respondent survey we would like to summarize, who buyers are, where they live, why they buy when they buy, and other sources for consumer lifestyle segmentation, etc. What our core message should be, and what factors drive purchasing decisions, barriers to entry and other relevant data. A story about our brand- whom it would appeal to, characteristics of the brand, features that need to be highlighted as well as the story that needs to be told on our website.

We would also like an analysis of competitors to determine messaging gaps that can be exploited, enhanced, or even avoided

We also hope to include lifestyle information based on the three largest respondent groups to give our creative team more direction when developing content.

Let me summarize:

For your firm to a proposal to assist my effort to establish a brand identity and Communications strategy to help grow our Sales in the Ebike sector. In addition to answering the stated RFP questions, we would hope that I could meet(Talk) with you/your team to share my initial thoughts on a marketing strategy. One good idea can be the basis for shaping and launching these efforts in a positive and productive direction.

I anticipate three main meetings to collaborate after you are hopefully hired. The first meeting will be a “core dump” meeting to flush out all thoughts and ideas for a brand identity and plans for a Communications strategy and a directional outline for the Communications

Plan. The second meeting will be the presentation of the draft Communications Plan. The third meeting we will review the logo candidates. An additional follow up meeting will also be scheduled as needed.

Deliverables? The brand and logo project will include an initial round of logo choices along with a positioning statement (tagline) to support the logo. The winning logo and tagline will be graphically designed and delivered in a digital format for use among the collaborative members. With the logo, there will be a graphics standards manual, which will outline specific PMS colors and graphics use standards. The selected logo/brand will become the exclusive property of mine. Regarding the Communication Plan and Marketing Strategy, you will provide a digital file of the plan. The Communication Plan and Marketing Strategy serve as a blueprint for targeting and communicating with specific ebike prospects.
