I need simple paypal code that will authenticate a user, and charge the user $1 - $5 depending on result of the random() function.
eg pseudo code:
chargeAmount = (random() % 5) + 1;
An executable Android App written in java is first priority
iPhone App in Objective C is second priority.
If Android code is executable, clear, and the same API works on iPhone, the iPhone App may not be necessary.
Your code will be expected to define statements of what keys or other registration codes I need to obtain from Paypal to use their API.
Meanwhile you use your own, or their sample keys or other registration codes to complete the project.

I can have a web hosted page called and displayed within my app, which will return a (String?) value of 0,1,5 to my App. Is this your understanding?

Mobile Web Checkout
PayPal offers a hosted checkout flow that’s tailored for the mobile screen size. You can link to this checkout flow either from a mobile site or from a mobile application. This product works very similar to how Express Checkout works online. You gather all the details on your site (about how much you want to charge the consumer and what they’re buying). You then call a SetMobileCheckout API that will return a link to our mobile site. You redirect the consumer to that PayPal link where they authorize the payment. The consumer will then get redirected back to your success page where you call the DoMobileCheckout API to complete the payment.
