The objective is to port Arbaro tree generation engine ([url removed, login to view])
to OpenSceneGraph 3D engine.
- only the generation engine must be ported, not the GUI part of Arbaro
- no high performance needed, non optimized code accepted
- the code must be able to generate the corresponding OpenSceneGraph object representing the Arbaro tree as defined by his parameters and then to display it in any OSG demo
- no shader effect needed
- no export needed
- no xml parsing needed
This project is cancelled/replaced by another one as a such C++ prot has benn found in OTL :
The new project will propose to write renderer from OTL vertexes arrays to OSG, Ogre,...
The port from Java to C++ has already been made by opentreelib project.
The purpose is now just to implement a way to display vertexes/triangles arrays given by opentreelib to OSG objects (perhaps osg::geometry, to be checked with OSG community). Joined the CmakeList file to easily build OTL on Linux.
