JAVA - modify demo app for production system

We have a demo app for a handheld terminal we want changed for our production environment. Demo app code attached Full server api and code that it runs on can be downloaded here [login to view URL] The demo app shows a list of locations and the user must choose one. Then tickets are scanned and checked against the selected location and displayed as valid or invalid. We want this changed to a list of Events from a database view vw_event. Tickets must then be checked by calling a stored procedure check_ticket(ticketID, eventID). The stored procedure will return one row with a message and an error_flag column. If error_flag=false, just display the message and be ready to scan the next ticket. If error_flag=true, beep 3 times, display message in popup and wait for key press before next ticket can be scanned. Have a look at the demo apps attached. We just need some changed to one of them for our app.
