Hey, I can create webservices in Java using the core JAVA 8 API or a third-party service like Spring Boot. I'll be honest i'm not overly familiar with XML but i'm very familiar with other configuration-file style *languages* like JSON/TOML/YAML so it shouldn't be a problem!
