I need to play the attached animation from a Java application. The [url removed, login to view] file is a quicktime animation which uses the [url removed, login to view] codec. It also has an alpha channel, so that the black background should become transparent when the video is played on a .jpg image. Please use any .jpg image of yours for the test.
JMF is the most widely known framework to play videos in Java, but it does not support the [url removed, login to view] coded nor transparency. I previously payed for a project to build the solution using JMF and JDK7 but we failed. Apparently nobody could do it. Now I am searching for a different option, using any other frameworks.
My application will still keep playing other material using JMF in other frames, as I do not need transparency all the time. I I hope there is not problem when mixing two frameworks in the same application, provided that each has its own dedicated screen area.
As i have told you in a message that if JMF not supports this format, FMJ can do it, explore FMJ, if you found the solution, thats nice, if not, i m here to help you.......................
