I am wanting a Simple Combat Engine made in Java, Able to function over a network.
To give you a brief overview it will include;
- A screen with a UI of a battle
- Allow the user to select a command and have the character carry it out with the basic system of combat in play
- Combat should be real time, using the ATB system
- Have the enemy react
- Have the battle resolve, player loss, enemies defeated and have some kind of VERY SIMPLE experience/level up system
(for a visual example, think of FFVI)
This is just the engine for a game, and is meant to be implemented into one.
And please keep in mind, that this will be a networked game. Everything will be stored on server side: Only interactions will be on client side.
This should be enough information to get started. Once a bidder is chosen, I will go over details with them.
