write a java class, which receives audio from sound input (microphone or line in), provides a "quasi peak" level indication from 0..100% as a status call function,
and allows to select audio output as being "raw" or "mp3 encoded" (mp3 parameters to be configurable). The delay of the mp3 encoder (use whatever you deem appropriate, if we need to purchase a class somewhere let us know in advance !) must not be more than 0.5 seconds.
Encoder should return "MP3 frames" not a stream, for reasons below.
The resulting work must work on Windows; Linux; MAC. To be provided in source form, with a very simple demonstration program which prints the the peak audio level every 100ms in
the console window, and broadcast the MP3 via UDP (1 MP3 frame per block) on the local LAN.
As we need this development for a commercial project, no classes from other sources may be used unless they are free to be used in commercial projects, or we know and agree to prices upfront.
Timeframe: this is not super urgent but we want to get it soon.
