I'm working on WSN protocols like AODV, DSDV, TSMP, 6LoWPAN, TCP/IP, UDP, CSMA, LTE, point-to-point connections, mesh network and many more. They have libraries in NS3 and I want to import them into OpenFlow Control Switch then run the program.
Task 1 (Elementary Level)- Create at least 3 node simple topology on NS3 (point-to-point or csma or wifi channel/connection), Install IP addresses on each nodes with each Node able to communicate with each other, then display with NetAnim.
Task 2 (Intermediate Level) - Create an OpenFlow simulation on NS3, It should have at least one Switch Controller and at least 3 terminals (nodes/devices). The Switch controller should be able to monitor packets, send a packet to specific port number, restrict unwanted IP addresses, it should also be able Match Flow-Entry from layer 1 to layer 4. (If possible show results in NetAnim)
Task 3 (Advance Level) - Assuming each terminal (node device) run different protocol on either layer 1 to 4 which makes it difficult to understand each other. Create an OpenFlow Switch simulation that can detect the protocol that is been used by any terminal (node device) and then interpret them.
NOTE: See attached image for an idea of the above task.
You can give your nodes a different name.
