Facebook Newsfeed Data Capture

I would like to know how many - on average -other users Facebook users are exposed to in their Newsfeeds.

I am particularly interested in the impact of Facebook's EdgeRank algorithm.

This means that I only want to see what's in users' Top News newsfeed. Which seems to mean that we can't use the API: see Quora - [url removed, login to view]

So it may be that we have to screen scrape somehow - but I'm hoping that you'll be able to tell me how we can do this...

Users may be required to log in to the system, or install a Facebook App or Chrome Extension, or Greasemonkey script

How to bid

1) I will only respond to bids that include the code "EeG34" in a PM to me - I get a lot of generic paste-and-forget bids.

2) I will only pay attention to bids that demonstrate an understanding of the problem.

3) I will award the project to the bidder who I believe has thought about how they will solve the problem.

It may be that the problem cannot easily be solved. Or it may be that a Greasemonkey script is all that's required.
