Embeded Windows Media Player - Cross browser scripting

My enquiry relates to expertise with a specific technology which I would like to know whether you can assist with.

This is not a request for quoting on a website build, but only for some programming work that requires expertise in cross browser scripting WMP or if necessary Silverlight.

If you go to my website [Removed by Admin] using Internet Explorer and then to 'Chemistry Lessons' and click on any lesson. Things work fine as I want them to. It uses a WMP embeded using the <object> tag. However the required result does not happen when the visitors browser is Firefox, Chrome or Safari. Infact WMP does not even show up on the page.

If I use the <embed> tag instead to insert the WMP, in firefox it goes as far as playing the soundtrack but still fails to do the interactive rich media interactions.

I need this rich media interactive functionality to work successfully in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome (Safari would also be good but less important than the others).

If you have the expertise to fix this to be able to function cross browser I would like a quotation and time frame please to produce the necessary code for one page, and I can copy it across into the rest of the lessons and change the file references. The lesson content is not CMS based but instead individually created static pages.

If it is technolgically not possible to do cross browser with WMP, I am if necessary willing to swich instead to Silverlight, with which I know the result can be achieved, but I would still need to have the programming code that causes the HTML interactions when triggered by script commands in the audio file that plays in the embedded Silverlight player.

Please note that the online lesson content pages are encrypted, but if you think you are able to do this work, I can give you a lesson in it's native code to work with.

I look forward to receiving your reply.
