The requirement is to display an [url removed, login to view] page (must be [url removed, login to view]) with a Google map showing vehicles as icons.
PLEASE take the time to read the specification as it is not just a standard Google map.
(Please see attached access database for tables and example data).
The project will be a [url removed, login to view] project and will have a number of elements.
1. A maintenance [url removed, login to view] page.
This page will allow the user to enter the following information:-
A start date and time
An end date and time
Multiple selections from a drop down list populated from an Access database table. (Vehicles table)
One selection from another drop down list populated from another table. (Orders table)
This page will require validation (such as end date/time is after start date/time etc..)
2. An encryption/decryption class
This will take the inputs from the above page and will generate an encrypted query string.
for example: -
The web page is used and a start time of 28/10/2009 15:00, an end time of 29/10/2009 11:00 and items TOMTOM1, TOMTOM3 and TOMTOM6 selected from the Vehicles list.
These would be passed into the class which would convert these into parameters of a query string
The class would then encrypt the query string (I can provide the code for this) and return it.
The class will also decrypt.
3. A Google Map [url removed, login to view] page
This will read in the encrypted query string and call the above class to decrypt it.
If the query string contains start and end times, if the current time is between the start date/time and the end date/time then the map is displayed. If the current time is either before the start date/time or after the end date/time, the page will not display the map.
If the map is displayed, it will use the objectid parameters from the query string do a lookup on the Objects table to get the coordinates and display the them as icons on a Google map with an info window showing the other details from the table
If the query string contains an order value, then this will be used to lookup the objectid and then do the above.
As well as the map, there will be a key on the page showing a list of Vehicle names that when clicked, will display the info window for the relevant icon on the map.
I will supply the icons - each vehicle will be a different color and each color will have eight different icons. The icon displayed will depend on the direction value from the Objects table. (the eight icons all have an arrow facing in a different direction - 1 – North, 2 – Northeast, 3 – East, 4 – Southeast, 5 – South, 6 – Southwest, 7 – West and 8 – Northwest).
The page will automatically refresh every minute.
1. The software and all data will be provided to the Service Buyer and become the sole property of the Service Buyer.
2. The SP must assure Service Buyer that the software and data provided and generated shall not be sold or offered to any other customer. The software will not require any licensing agreements, monthly fees or copy write protections applied
