We are a small family startup company that is looking for an EXPERIENCED USER INTERFACE DEVELOPER to design the front-end of a site that is a cross between [url removed, login to view] and Angie’s List. The site matches consumers to non-profit government and private credit counselors through the following process:
> A potential lead fills out a financial statement profile
> The site matches eligible clients based on key financial fields to our counselors, who have preset parameters for client selection
> Automated email messaging system to notify prospect of file acceptance/rejection
> Tracking of converted prospects through opt-in conversion confirmation by client and counselor
We need: Someone highly experienced in user interface design and usability to optimize forms and processes (must demonstrate history of previous projects “before/after” improvements in usability), design look and flow of client & counselor portal with the ability to scale, and create layout of automated emails connected to the database.
We have: WCF web service-based [url removed, login to view] MVC project with the core DB, service and site structure in place, process flow maps, basic UI screen mockups, form content, static pages in html (company/faq/features etc.) , website design (however, we are open to a redesign however, we are open to high class graphic designs on the level of [url removed, login to view]), defined system interactions over web services and mapped service inputs and outputs, images, logos, web hosting, and SEO optimization.
[url removed, login to view]
The form process and functionality we want is exactly like this site, simple and clean, except we would like dynamic pages that reflect when certain major fields are filled out. Our forms are on the longer side so experience in designing usability to have the client fill out the entire form is a must. Also, the color scheme and dated design are not what we want.
[url removed, login to view]
The modern dynamic form layout, color and overall site design are what we’re looking for. In addition, the client signup/login/account capabilities and professional portal for our counselors to put up their profile and check their client requests is a match to what we need, in addition to the look and feel of the two accounts.
There will be two users of the site: people considering bankruptcy/credit repair and credit counselors. The design should be welcoming, warm, simple, and easy to understand so they feel called to action. Average user technical savviness will be low. They should feel motivated to complete the long financial forms, respond to counselor initial communication, and have a high conversion rate.
Developers who match the following requirements will be given priority:
> Applicants located in Los Angeles/Orange County area who can meet face to face.
> Similar projects completed
> High degree of fluency in spoken and written English
> Provision of references (URL + Name + Phone#)
Please provide an estimated time frame and show only three examples of work only directly similar to above descriptions. Developers who send long lists of more than three sites for review will be automatically turned down. Include milestone payments with your bid, bids not including milestones will be ignored.
