This short project is to build a framework built on top of the Dojo ([url removed, login to view]) implementation.
What is required is a very generic framework to implement on various differnt projects, templated design, configuration via JSON and full documentation.
Key topics that need to be covered are:
2. JSON or REST data consumption via deferreds
3. Clean design tempate(s) - more via discussion
5. Implementation example
So the idea is to have a framework of these core components that are built dynamically via json data stored in a mysql database.
In order for this to be tested we should use a simple implementation example of a CMS that uses a grid layout (headline), with a logo header and login box to the right.
Then a toolbar with menu items (drop downs, mixed with combo boxes and standard buttons.). Pn the left we should have a tree view linked to a grid with sample data (eg. pages that have been created and their status and what the content is). Other information that could be captured is user creating and updating content items. The list can go on, but can be limited as a test site of the framework.
We would need some standard screens that the framework should provide, that is the CRUD (create, review, update and delete) operations - these screens should be provided from the framework as should all data operations.
Hopefully this should give a better idea of what I am trying to build.
