Fix one short but messy index page to validated HTML

I just have one page of html that it built with tables, it's not a big page at all but has some errors. I just don't have time to get it validated but I would like it done in the next few hours if possible. It has some features like a javascript slide show and some mouseover buttons that in the end still need to work properly.
