Create a code

I am currently working on building my own website and have never had to create or read coding before. I really wanted the home page to have animated text: the viewer would see my name typed out and after the period at the end of my name would be a blinking cursor. aka "typewriter effect"
I am using wix but their tutorials are not helping and I have contacted them directly which was no help either as I was on hold the entirety of the phonecall.
Please could someone create a code that would create this text animation when someone enters the page?
