The graph viewer must be able to enable and disable traces via checkboxes, display data points under the cursor, show axis labels and scales, and must be able to scroll and zoom. It may be a good thing if several graphs scroll simultaneously, as the traces are of different types and timescales, but describe the same event.
It is important that the data should be viewable in a clean installation of any browser, even quite ancient ones. A cut could be made at IE5.5, but any recent browser must be able to view the content without installing packages or extensions - this includes IE as well as Firefox and Safari.
Existing packages in the public domain may be used as foundation, but the entire code must be small (<100 kb) and license free.
A crude and slow implementation for Firefox, which I made using divs for pixels, is available as a demo of what is needed.
