We are building a large web service for a public entity and need additional help with frontend development. Our tech stack on the frontend is React/JS/[login to view URL] and FastAPI/Postgres on the backend. This is a major project and will take up ~20-30 hours/week for the next few months.
We will consider only US-based freelancers and we prefer to hire in the Pacific time zone.
We're looking for an experienced frontend developer with a strong track record in React/[login to view URL] and experience in building responsive and accessible (under WAI/WCAG standards) web pages. In addition, the successful candidate will have experience in UI/UX design and will be able to independently make decisions on frontend design and functionality choices based on general design templates and guidelines.
We will only consider applicants who can show us sample React/[login to view URL] projects (including source code) they have worked on.
You will be ignored without answer!
1. Please describe in your own words what ARIA labels/tags are (no copy & paste -- we'll check).
2. How would you implement a data table in React if accessibility was a primary concern?
3. Do you prefer functional or class components in React? Why?
