Joomla Blog integration needed for current joomla site

Please see the attachment below, I am in need of a Joomla blog setup and install into my current Joomla site. The area below the paragraph is where I would like the blog feeds to come through, it should display the most recent blog post which ideally should also include a image that the user can click through to my blog. I would like to etiher use a Joomla blog or wordpress, whichever can accomplish what I want.
