I'm looking for someone to complete an immediate project and also be available on an ongoing basis to act as our 'goto' guy/girl/team for jQuery (+HTML, CSS) coding.

Project details:
We have an existing site that pulls an orders details from a database and displays the order items in squares on the screen. The user can select none, one or more items via a checkbox in each items square and then choose an option (Payment Complete, Cancel All, Cancel Selected, Re-order Selected). 4 existing jQuery functions currently send a post to a php script which makes the appropriate changes in the db.
Each item in an order has it's own status (cancelled, paid, open). We want to make sure that we only send item ids to our php scripts that need updating depending on which of the 4 options was chosen.
Initially, we need you to create a jQuery function that returns an array of item id's and the status of each item. Then we will look at the 4 existing jQuery functions and add some code to each one to call your function and parse out only the item id's that we need to update in the database.
There is also some minor HTML/CSS work to do to position some of the order data.
