I handle every aspect of the property-tax assessment appeal—from research and filings to client communication—but Pennsylvania rules require a licensed attorney to appear in person. I’m therefore looking for a colleague admitted in Pennsylvania who can step in at the hearing stage of these tax-assessment appeals for various property owners. Hearings are set roughly once a quarter and are usually brief, straightforward matters before the county Board of Assessment Appeals or, on occasion, the Court of Common Pleas. All evidence packets, petitions, and procedural paperwork will be prepared and delivered to you in advance; your sole responsibility is to represent the owner on the record. Deliverables each time: • Enter appearance and attend the scheduled assessment-appeal hearing • Present the prepared evidence and argument (typically 10–20 minutes) • Provide a short written recap of the outcome, including any next steps ordered by the board or court Because “represent owners in court” is the only task involved, no document drafting or client counselling is required. Reliability and punctuality are crucial, and familiarity with county-level assessment boards will be a plus. If you’re available for periodic, quarter-yearly appearances and can commit to timely follow-up summaries, I’d love to establish an ongoing relationship.
