Job Title: HIPAA Specialist
Practice by Numbers is seeking a HIPAA Specialist to assist with the development/writing of HIPAA policies, configuration of the trust center in their URL, and navigating external HIPAA audits. As a HIPAA Specialist, you will create compliance documents and policies based on Drata templates, including the HIPAA Security and Privacy Rule.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain HIPAA policies and procedures based on Drata templates
- Configure the trust center in the URL
- Facilitate external HIPAA audits
- Provide guidance and support on HIPAA compliance to team members
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA policy writing and compliance using the Drata platform
- Experience with the dental industry or similar healthcare
- Good communication skills to work with US-based external auditors to navigate all the questions
- Examples of successfully executing and getting clients HIPAA-ready
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
