We are looking for a team or individual that has the needed experience and competency to Design, Implement, Test and eventually scale an Asterisk-based Server Cluster.
The final system must allow the following type of redundancy / failover capacity:
single server failure - maximum 10 second downtime
multiple server failures within the same dataceter, or complete datacenter failure - maximum 30 minutes downtime
complete system loss - maximum 12 hours downtime
failover on trunks (we have little expertise with this, so your advice will be crucial)
We already have access to servers in 4 datacenters and will be providing access to all the needed hardware. We are also open to suggestions on alternate configurations (cloud solutions, for example).
The work must include a detailed log, complete with all the software configuration details and installation steps, and basic documentation allowing level-1 administrators to self-manage and diagnose basic problems.
The work must include failover systems tests, intrusion tests, and stress tests. Test results must be proven through logged, documented and reproduceable tests.
You must be willing to provide our technicians with level-2 support for the new system up to 14 days, with a possibility for support contract extensions.
