Fedora Core 2 .TAR Archive Utility Broken

Simple Project. Simple Fix. Not really worth $[url removed, login to view]

We need someone who can repair our GNU TAR Archive Utility that another freelancer broke, while working on our server. He said was a "experienced" server admin as many wannabes do...

If we choose you to repair our archive utility, you will be expected to work remotely through our machine. This means we will send you an invite and when you log into our machine, we will have the PuTTy screen open and already logged into our server. You must have a high-speed connection or the remote session will simply fail.

If you can not meet any of the above expectations, don't bid!

Also, canned or pasted bids will be hidden/deleted. To be considered, please post the word "RedHat" at the start of your post, so we'll know you thoroughly read our requirements.

We need someone who can start right away, as this should only be a 5-10 job.

We will test the command tar -cvf [url removed, login to view]

If the command fails to work, we will not pay you for your time. The purpose of this project is to get a functioning .tar archiving utility working.

Thanks
