Please read these details carefully: for those who do not already know, when you pay for internet service through xfinity, you get access to their mobile hotspots, which allow you to use free WiFi wherever a hotspot is located. You simply search for the xfinitywifi SSID, connect, then open a browser to enter your account login credentials to access the service.
We have a router that USED to work with the xfinity hotspots, and all of the sudden, it stopped working. We were able to use WISP to search for the hotspot, connect to it, and after we logged in with our credentials via browser window, we were able to connect to the internet, and get all of our devices (printer, TV, etc) on the internet as well.
Sometime last year this stopped working. The router (via a WISP connection) cannot "see" the xfinity hotspot, but individual computers can.
What we want to do is be able to connect our router to the xfinity hotspot once again, and gain access to the service that we are already paying for. So we need people who are familiar with this type of setup, familiar with WISP connections through wireless routers, and can help us to use the xfinity hotspot through our router to get an internet connection, and then share that connection with the various devices at our location.
No bids outside of the range specified will be entertained, so don't waste your time or ours.
