In the United Arab Emirates, there is a regulation issued by the Central Bank regarding Licensing and Monitoring of Exchange Business. We need a market research of licensed companies operating according to this regulation.
In the research, there should be information regarding every segment of this business:
(a) Dealing in sale and purchase of foreign currencies and travelers cheques;
(b) Executing remittance operations in local and foreign currencies;
(b) Payment of wages through establishing a link to the operating system of “wages protection
system”(WPS); and
(d) Other products and services approved by the Central Bank.
For every segment, there should be following info:
(a) volume of the market, its dynamics (how it grew, forecasts of further development, etc.)
(b) who are main companies in this market, what is their market share;
(c) advantages of of the main companies in this field;
(d) the information in details on the services provided by the companies from this field,
(e) info about the branches of this companies, where they are more active (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc.), info about the market share of every emirate in this business
(f) information about investments, M&A in the exchange business
(g) all other information implied by the proper market research standards.
