We are looking for a professional, experienced and reliable 3D Modeller / Animator to help us with a selection of ongoing projects. Your work will be imported into the Unity3D game engine for use in mobile games.
Our first assignment is a really easy task to see how well we can work together and how quickly you can produce results.
Simple robotic character needs to be modelled, skinned, animated and uv mapped. (Around 1000 triangles and will be used on iOS.)
We have a current model that has been created with Maya and has multiple poly surfaces which each take up one draw call in Unity. We need someone who can use the existing model, animation and UV mapped texture for reference in order to create a brand new model as identical as possible but only made from one mesh - and therefore one draw call in Unity.
Preferably modelled in Cinema4D, although Maya will be ok so as long as it imports into Unity and animations work correctly without any change in Maya.
The current character's animation is suitable however some work can also be done on improving the walk-cycle as it doesn't loop correctly.
The current model that will be used as the guide is a Maya Binary file.
If you are chosen and the work is successful we will have plenty more work for you to do in the near future.
