I need someone who can program an access database for me here is a layout of the general project below. I have drawings and more detail I can give to the person who wins the bid. I need this done asap so don't bid if you can't focus on the project soon. Thank you.
I need a form designed that will work a incident tracking software. It's very simple it will have a login form, a main form (with a new button, report button, and search/edit button), then there will be a form that has a tab section. I will explain in more detail below. There will need to be a users table (access to buttons and certian features is based off account type), there will be about 8 other tables that will hold data. Most of those tables are static, the rest are for when data is entered or edited.
Form 1 - Login
The login form is simple it will be a username and password. If the user info is correct is goes to the main form if not then it loops back.
Form 2 - Main Form
This form again is simple. It will have a logo then 3 buttons. 1 button will say new which will lead to the new form, the next is search will will lead to the search form and finally is edit which will also lead to the search form. Based on user privileges some buttons will be grayed out. Only admin and modify users will use the new button and edit button. All others can only search
Form 3 - New Form
Once the user clicks on the new form a pop up box appears the user has 4 check boxes each check box they select will become an open tab in the next form.
Form 4 - Info Form
Once the user has selected the boxes from the new form a form opens that has up to 4 tabs those tabs are based off which boxes they selected. For example lets say they select 1 and 3 on the new form screen then there are tabs 1 and 3 on this new form. They enter information here and click save and that info is put into the database.
The search forms are realively simple they will link to reports. The edit button will let them search for a certian incident and the let them edit the incident in the info form.

Basic Login Form and Table
See the attachment called login.png This will tie to a table. This table will have 5 columns, username, password (plain text), employee id, email, and access. There will be 3 access levels admin, modify, and read.
This is the main form. Here is where access rights come in to play. If they are an admin all buttons are open to them. If they are modify only new, edit, and search are open to them. If they are read then only the search button is open to them. See the main form.png attached There is no table attached to this form.
When the new button is clicked then two things happen. 1 a master number is created. How you do this is up to you. But basically it will in the following format. YY.XXXX yy is the last 2 digits of the current year so 2012 is 12. and XXXX is the next number in the sequence so if the last master number was 12.0100 then the next one will be 12.01011 if the year changes between projects it doesn't matter so it can go 12.0555 to 13.0556. I don't know if you will make a table that will keep the the last master number used or how it will be done but the master number is how we track incidents. A new form pops up in that form it has 4 check boxes. ERP, PPAP, 8D, and Dev. Each one has a check box by it the user can select all 4 or 1 or whatever they want. Once they click okay then a new form pops up. This form is a tab based form (see attachment newform.png) This form shows the current master number and also has 4 tabs below. The tabs are ERP, PPAP, 8D, and DEV. If they didn't select the checkbox in the previous screen then the n/a box is checked for that tab and everything is grayed out. They can uncheck that box and everything becomes available and vice versa. I will give more information about what information will be under each tab but basically it will be a bunch of checkboxes and stuff like that. There will need to be a save button and all the information in each tab will need to be saved into a table. So the table will have master number then the information from each tab in it.
Edit button works by letting them search by master number and then edit the information in each form. So basically edit works like the new button but instead it searches based off a master number they put in.
It works like the edit button they can search by master number but when they pull up the tabs they can't edit anything.
