Exchange mailbox not receiving external mails due to AD AZURE Sync issue

2 of our exchange mailboxes are not receiving external mails.
Noticed that exchange mails are not in sync with Microsoft Azure AD for sometime!
Not able to install ADD Connect Provisioning Agent!
Need to resolve all these issues and synchronization for exchange to be resumed.
Exchange Server: 2012 R2 Server with exchange 2016 installed
