I need to migrate just 7 mailboxes off of the Exchange server in Windows Small Business Server 2003 to Office 365. I want it done using the "Exchange 2003 and later versions - Manually specify connection settings" migration option in Office 365 (not IMAP) so I don't have to worry about calendars, contacts, etc. separately. However, something is misconfigured apparently on the current Exchange server as the migration tool cannot make a properly authenticated connection. My understanding is that this migration process is done using RPC over HTTPS, so I assume it something related to that being misconfigured that is the issue but do not know for sure. It already has a trusted certificate so that is not the issue (which is what Google often turns up as a solution).
I want someone to figure out the issues and then get the mailboxes migrated. I will give the selected vendor a temporary admin account on the Windows SBS server (and connectivity most likely through the Remote Web Workplace) and a temporary admin account in Office 365. Priority will be given to anyone has experience doing this specific migration. Thanks.
